MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre Rules

MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the FL State Fairgrounds wants every guest to have a fantastic time during their visit to the venue. To help everyone feel comfortable and safe, they’ve created a set of guidelines and policies to help everyone have a great time. Please read and review these guidelines. Any guest found in violation may be expelled without refund or banned. If you have any questions, you may call the venue at (813) 740-2446.
Accessible Policy
Guests that require assisted listening devices can contact their venue office prior to the event to arrange for a device. Please give the venue at least 2 days notice. Guests that require interpreter service can call the venue and arrange this for any event. They need at least 2 weeks notice to secure an interpreter. They can be reached at 813-600-1022, 813-600-1007 or 813-600-1003.
Alcohol Policy
MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre offers a wide variety of alcoholic beverages for purchase during your time at the venue. You are not permitted to bring any alcoholic beverages into the venue. A valid and current Driver License or State ID card is required to purchase alcohol- guests will be required to show ID every time they purchase.
Bag Policy
To reduce staff contact with guest belongings, the venue has created the following clear bag policy. No bag will be allowed in the venue unless it meets these requirements.
- For Plastic, Vinyl, or PVC bags (clear) they must be no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”.
- For small clutch bags (doesn’t need to be clear), they can be no larger than 6” x 9”.
All bags are subject to search upon entry. Guests have the right to refuse a bag search and the venue has the right to refuse entry. If you have any items that are not allowed into the venue please return them to your vehicle.
Camera Policy
The standard camera policy at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre allows for disposable cameras, camera phones, and small digital cameras.
Professional cameras with detachable lenses are not permitted. Regarding camera lenses in general, any lens larger than one inch that zooms out of the camera is considered professional, so it will not be permitted.
Please be aware that the camera policy is subject to change depending on the event. This is because some artists do not allow cameras at their shows. Check the details for the event you are due to attend for more details on the specific camera policy you need to abide by.
Cashless Policy
The MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre is a completely cashless venue, so only debit or credit card payments are permitted. Mobile payments – such as those made on Google Pay or Apple Pay – are also allowed.
If you do have any cash on you when you attend the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre, you don’t have to worry! You can convert your money dollar for dollar via the cash-to-card kiosk at the venue. No charges will be made to your prepaid debit card when converting your cash.
Child Policy
All of the venue’s events are all ages. Children 2 and under do not require a ticket, but must sit on a parent’s lap.
Contactless Tickets
Children of all ages are allowed in the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre. Children under two can usually enter the venue for free. However, they must sit on the lap of their parents or guardians during an event. Of course, this depends on the nature of the show in question and any age restrictions.
Lawn Chair Policy
To reduce contact with guest belongings and for security reasons, no outside Lawn Chairs will be allowed into the building starting in 2023. Lawn Chairs are available for rental for guests on the Lawn.
Lost and Found Policy
Any items lost at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre can be handed in at the Guest Services booth. These items are turned in during and at the end of an event.
Check with Guest Services before you leave to see if they have any lost items. The booth can be found on the west side of the venue, next to the Orchestra entrance.
If you find that you have lost an item after the day of the event, call the venue at (813) 740-2446.
Overnight Parking Policy
There is no overnight parking permitted at the venue. Any unauthorized vehicles on site prior to an event or after an event will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Permitted Items
The following items are allowed inside of the venue.
- Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and/or small clutch bags (4.5”x 6.5”).
- Blankets
- Cameras – nonprofessional only, no detachable lenses
- Umbrellas- small/parasol
Prohibited Items
The following are items that are not allowed in the venue. If you are found to have any of these items on your person, you will not be allowed into the Midflorida Credit Union Amphitheatre. The items might be confiscated and even discarded, so make sure that you leave them at home to avoid any difficulties.

Smoking Policy
There are only two areas in the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre where smoking is permitted – the Plaza and the Lawn. You are not permitted to smoke in the Pavilion seating area.
Be aware that although smoking is allowed in these areas, you might still be asked to stop if there are complaints from fellow guests.
Tickets
Rather than physical tickets, digital tickets will be sent to you prior to your chosen event. These tickets can be added to your phone and scanned when you arrive.
To ensure as few delays as possible, make sure your phone is completely charged on the day of the event.
