The son of country legend Rhett Akins, Thomas Rhett has created an epic career of his own since breaking out in 2012. He became a staple in the country scene when his Grammy-nominated smash hit "Die a Happy Man" landed. Thomas Rhett is a bit of a road junkie. Over the years, the star has toured with powerhouses, including the likes of Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, and Brett Eldredge, and has sold out his own headlining arena tours. By popular demand, the undeniably talented Thomas Rhett is returning to the road and treating fans to the highly anticipated Better In Boots Tour.
Beginning in June 2025, the tour promises to deliver energy-fueled performances and light up world class venues across North America with an avalanche of almost two dozen no.1 Billboard Country Airplay chart hits. The one and only Thomas Rhett will be bringing his talents to 30 cities around the continent, in states such as Wisconsin, New York, Virginia, Florida, and Georgia. “Wind Up Missin’ You” star Tucker Wetmore will open up all of the shows, with neotraditional country music trio Castellows also lending support at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on Friday 5th September 2025.
The North American run comes in celebration of Thomas Rhett’s seventh (and arguably best!) album About a Woman. Released in August, the album features “Don’t Wanna Dance,” which incorporates Whitney Houston’s fan favorite track “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me).” What’s more, awesome songs like “Fool,” “Can’t Love You Anymore” and “Overdrive,” are on the tracklist, drawing inspiration from a range of different artists such as The Oak Ridge Boys, Alan Jackson and The Rolling Stones.
Talking to Billboard, 5x Grammy nominee Thomas Rhett said another song from the record, “Church,” pays tribute to fellow country powerhouse, Eric Church, as well as the star’s personal love story with his beloved wife, Lauren. Thomas Rhett said, “This is Lauren’s favorite on the album, because when we were in high school, I bought [Church’s] Carolina record, which was his second album.” If Thomas Rhett’s previous tour is of any indication, tickets won't be around for long. To secure your places, we highly recommend booking your tickets now!
