Hozier is making his way to the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on Saturday, 11th May 2024, with special guest Allison Russell performing with him. Following the recent wrap-up of his Unreal Unearth Tour, the Irish star has announced intentions to extend the show into the upcoming year. Throughout the 37-date run, he’ll make stops in Orlando, Denver, Austin, San Diego, and other major cities along the way.
Irish artist Hozier, born Andrew John Hozier-Byrne, initially gained worldwide recognition in 2013 when his rock single "Take Me to Church" went viral. Moreover, the release of this single consequently led to a major-label deal for his debut album, a Grammy nomination for Song of the Year, and platinum certifications in over eleven countries.
In 2016, he also produced the anthem "Better Love" for the live-action film Legend of Tarzan. Following this, Hozier launched the Nina Cried Power EP, a four-song release that included a collaboration with soul icon Mavis Staples on the title track. As observed from his three studio albums, the multi-musician is famous for incorporating elements of folk, soul, and blues into his music, frequently exploring religious and literary themes with a strong political or social justice perspective.
