Hailing from Dallas, Texas is Country and Western trio, Dixie Chicks.
Formed by two musical sisters, Martie Erwin Maguire and Emily Erwin Robison, who have remained in the band since its days of playing traditional bluegrass. After the decision to broaden their musical focus and add elements of rock and pop into the mix, the group invited lead Vocalist Natalie Maines to join, finalizing the line-up for good.

In 1998 the Dixie Chicks released their debut album "Wide Open Spaces", the record went wild, smashing the charts, it sold more copies than all of the fellow Country artists at the time combined. The album also won Dixie Chicks, five Grammys and the Country Music Association's Album of the Year in 2000 and their Vocal Group of the Year award in 2002.

The Dixie Chicks are now the top selling all-female band to grace the musical world!
