Summer is just getting better and better! Two rock phenoms, Coheed and Cambria and Taking Back Sunday are sharing the stage to deliver fans the most outrageous head bang spectacle. Coheed and Cambria are back with a forthcoming effort. The Father of Make Believe is the third installment of a thrilling trilogy and will be their 11th studio album. The effort, which continues the band’s Amory Wars saga, spawned the hit, “Someone Who Can,” which made its way into the Mainstream Rock chart. Besides the band’s love for scienc fiction and graphic novels that coincide with their studio releases, Coheed and Cambria is known for their incredible live performances. The prog rock group is an absolute dynamo on stage and fans get to witness this showdown with new and old songs to boot.
Meanwhile, Taking Back Sunday continues to promote their brilliant work. The band has two decades’ worth of catalog and they belted out some of the most iconic pop rock titles to ever hit the circuit. This progressive rock band takes their versatility and artistry to the next level by infusing genres such as metal, emo, rock, and more. Coheed and Cambria found incredible commercial success with the release of their 2005 single, “Welcome Home.” The song is spawned from their fourth effort Good Apollo I’m Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World For Tomorrow. The band continued to make waves on the Mainstream Rock charts with a slew of subsequent singles, while their albums continued to chart in Billboard 200’s top 20. In 2015, their eighth album Color Before the Sun went to number 1 on the Top Rock Albums chart.
The band found their breakthrough in 2004 with the sophomore effort, Where You Want to Be. The album peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200 and sold over 500,000 copies in the U.S. earning gold status. Their follow up effort Louder Now spawned a mutlitude of hits, including “MakeDamnSure” and “Twenty-Twenty Surgery” both singles topping the U.K. chart. In 2023, Taking Back Sunday released their latest effort, 152, their first album to be released in seven years since 2016’s Tidal Wave.
