Imagine Dragons at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre

It's time to begin, isn't it? Well, IMAGINE DRAGONS is welcoming everyone to the new age with the highly-anticipated release of their new album "Loom" coming out this June. Their sixth LP marks a new era for the "Radioactive" hitmakers, giving fans a sneak peek of what to expect with their newest hit single "Eyes Closed". The track offers a listening experience with the signature Imagine Dragons attitude, with a blend of rock, pop, hiphop, and dubstep on the side. Introducing new sonic elements in the mix, the band looks forward to celebrating the new album with their fans on the LOOM WORLD TOUR.

The new LP is scheduled to be released this summer, June 28th. Taking inspiration from their personal time-offs following years of touring in support of their double album Mercury Act 1 and Act 2, the band members headed home, catching up with their friends and loved ones. Back in the studio, they came together and exchanged newfound inspirations and joy that led to the creation of "Loom".

"After taking some time off the road and spending time catching up with family and loved ones, I finally have felt the desire to go back to the sonic places that originally brought me the most joy, but with a new outlook and mentality," Reynolds said about the track, via Rolling Stone. "The world looks much different after being a band for more than a decade. But some things will always remain the same. It’s finding that right balance of nostalgia and freshness that brings me the most joy in the studio. We had a lot of fun making this one and hope you enjoy it too."

The Grammy Award-winning band is set to share their pinnacle of "artistic journey of self-discovery", teasing the record as their "best body of work" yet, according to their official website. In an Instagram post, frontman Dan Reynolds shared that "working on this record was a rollercoaster... Some days the songs came from a place of sadness and heartache and others joy and jubilance. Loneliness. Searching. Wanting. Anger. Love."

Following non-stop action on the road, it seems that their brief break from touring allowed them to explore within, and took these newfound lessons to the studio. If there's one thing unique about Imagine Dragons' music, it's the band's ability to strike the soul, imparting powerful messages in every song.

On tour, you can expect them to perform their big hits, such as "Radioactive", "It's Time", "Demons", "Believer", "Thunder", "Whatever It Takes", and many more, alongside their new anthems. Though we're definitely hyped up for that, the band reminds us that they desire for the tour is how fans can celebrate their new music as a communal experience.

"It’s just a lot of people in a room together realizing they’re not alone in their feelings," Reynolds said, via AP News. "I don’t necessarily need them to feel happy or sad or anything. I just want them to look around them and see that other people are also feeling something."
