After a scene-stealing appearance at the sold-out Innings Festival, Third Eye Blind will follow it up with the return of their seasonal “Summer Gods Tour.” This thrilling series will introduce opening acts from Yellowcard and ARIZONA in two months of alt-rock mayhem, hitting over three dozen North American cities en route.
Incidentally, this 2024 run will coincide with the 25th Anniversary of the 3x Platinum hit, “Jumper,” which has fans speculating on tribute performances to the band’s ‘90s classics. Live Nation presents the fourth installment of Third Eye Blind’s “Summer Gods Tour,” inviting followers from all over to bask in the sun and bang their heads to the music that sold more than 12 million records worldwide for its trailblazing influence in the post-grunge era. Listen to the earthy punk and vividly power pop blends that defined the group’s iconic discography, ever-present in Billboard 200-charting albums such as Blue, Out of the Vein, and Ursa Major. And of course, it’s just not a Third Eye Blind show without their best crowd-pleasers, which often feature platinum-sellers “Never Let You Go,” How's It Going to Be,” and Billboard Music Awards’ Best Modern Rock Track “Semi-Charmed Life.”
The event’s first opening act, multi-platinum band Yellowcard, comes in swinging with all the violin-led glory of their emo pop-punk tunes such as “Ocean Avenue” and “Light and Sound.” Up next, you’ll get ARIZONA — the eclectic electro-pop trio best known for their “Oceans Away” smash hit and other such songs featuring reflective lyricism and spaced-out synths.
