Garbage took over the ‘90s and 2000s with their female-driven rock anthems, “Only Happy When It Rains,” “Stupid Girl,” “I Think I’m Paranoid,” “Cherry Lips,” and more. The band dropped their debut album in 1995 and spawned two platinum-selling hits. The album sold over four million copies worldwide, bringing Garbage incredible commercial success. After their phenomenal debut, Garbage released their follow-up effort, Version 2.0. Like its predecessor, the sophomore album became an international success and sold over four million copies. The album featured several highly-acclaimed singles, including “Push It” and “I Think I’m Paranoid.”

After the unfortunate and over-dragged split of legendary alternative band, Oasis, acclaimed singer-songwriter Noel Gallagher went to form Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. Being the primary songwriter, he had no problem coming out with sensational hits. In 2011, the band released its eponymous debut album, topping the U.K. chart and entering four U.S. Billboard charts. The album spawned several critically-acclaimed hits and achieved international success after entering the charts in over 20 countries. The band’s debut single, “The Death of You and Me,” charted in over five countries. After the band’s stellar debut, they released two more highly-regarded albums, Chasing Yesterday and Who Built the Moon?, which topped the U.K. chart and were certified platinum.
